Lotto Strategies

5 minutes reading time (940 words)

Let us be honest if you could pick winning lotto numbers consistently. You would play every day between sipping margaritas and picking out your new car for the week. I know; I certainly would. I would be away on my private island playing some more.

So, is there a way of picking the winning lottery numbers? The honest answer is we can improve our chances by applying some mathematically based lotto strategies! Lotteries are, for the most part, random; therefore, quite challenging to guess winning numbers. (Notice I said "for the most part," we will revisit this.) If it were not true, you would be on another Island counting your winnings.

So, lets us be clear it is not easy to win a jackpot as some would have you believe. But you must have a lotto strategy. Let's take a practical, logical approach. Because it is difficult to guess the winning numbers does not mean it is impossible.

Lotto Strategy

Let's get started by organizing your lotto strategy. I have broken it into three sections:

  • Lottery Game Selection
  • Lottery Number Selection
  • Wheeling Systems Selection

Lottery Game Selection – Lottery Odds

Lottery game selection, as well as odds, are essential. They tell us what we can expect to spend before we win. In addition, knowing the odds of winning casino games such as Blackjack, Craps, Poker, and many other casino games is essential. Professional gamblers need to know the odds of their games because they know how likely they will win or what card is favored to be drawn.

The same goes for Lotteries. We must know the odds of winning the lottery. This allows us to place our bets accordingly. Most players have no idea of their lottery's odds and figure the odds are so high that they don't care. The large jackpots attract them as we all are.

The odds are essential if you want to win the lottery (Powerball Systems)

Be familiar with the odds if you hope to win the lottery

Knowing the odds gives you the best choice of where to spend your money. If you don't, then you might as well put your money in the bank. You will make more money there. Look at a Powerball lottery with a Pick 5 from 1 through 69 numbers and a Powerball number from 26 numbers.

The odds for a winning ticket are 1 in 292,201,338. Look at another lottery, say Pick 6/53 numbers. The odds of guessing the jackpot is 1 in 22,957,480 drawings.

The odds of winning a Pick 5/36 number lottery is 376,992 to 1. The odds for the pick 5 are considerably better. This is the kind of lottery we have a better chance of winning. Logical. Most players do not play these lotteries. So play a game with lower odds. The idea is to win games.

Further, we significantly improve those odds by using wheeling systems.

Lottery Number Selection Picking Winning Numbers Tips

  • ** IMPORTANT** – If you use a wheeling system strategy, skip Tips 2-7. Playing with a wheeling system nullifies the win assurance if you take out any of the combinations.

Look at the Drawing History

In any lottery, look at the drawing history. Notice that every 3rd to 5th drawing will be numbers ten and above. If you play this mathematical statistic, you will eliminate the numbers 1-9. Your odds just increased by removing these numbers. Take advantage of this. For example, a lottery that is a pick 5 out of 36 numbers would become a pick 5 out of 27, So now your odds went from 1 in 376,992 to roughly 1 in 80,730.

Avoid the Same Last Digits

Avoid playing the same last digits, for example, 4-14-24-34-44-54, and other similar combinations.

Avoid Calendar Numbers

Because many players like to play calendar numbers, such as birthdays and anniversaries, these numbers, 1 through 31, are the most played. Keep this in mind when picking your strategies. Select higher numbers

Avoid Numbers Never Drawn

Avoid combinations that have never been drawn. For example, consecutive numbers such as 1-2-3-4-5-6 are a waste of money and time.

Avoid Multiples

Avoid number multiples such as 5-10-15-20-25-30; this sequence has occurred very rarely. Doubt me? Take a look at your drawing's history.

Do Not Use Quick Picks

Don't use quick picks; it is a waste of your money. Use a system instead; your odds of a winning combination are much better.

Don't Play Ticket Patterns

Don't play ticket patterns such as across or down, or at an angle from your selection ticket.

Use a Lottery Wheeling System

By all means, use a lottery wheeling system. These mathematical systems help increase your number coverage, thereby increasing your odds.

Analyze Past Trends

Analyze the past trends; after all, chaos is a trend, with tools such as Since Last Hit Charts and Frequency Charts, and use the software you feel comfortable using.
