The Minnesota Lottery

The Minnesota Lottery is run by the government of Minnesota and offers a variety of lottery games, including scratch-off tickets and draw games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and Lucky for Life. • Northstar Cash: Players select five numbers from 1 to 34. Drawings are held every night.

• Scratch-off tickets: These are instant win games that come in a variety of themes and price points.

The Minnesota Lottery also offers a number of electronic games, including Pull-Tabs, e-Instant Games, and Fast Play games, which are similar to scratch-off games but do not require scratching off a coating. These games are available at retailers and self-service terminals.

All lottery prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing. The Minnesota Lottery also has a number of second chance promotions, in which players can enter non-winning tickets for a chance to win additional prizes.
